Blues legend and national treasure B.B. King cancelled the remaining eight shows of a concert tour after falling ill on October 3rd in Chicago. King, now 89 years-old, was diagnosed with dehydration and exhaustion. He’s now said to be at home and “feeling better.”
When I’m 89, I just hope I’ll be at home and able to say that I feel reasonably sentient. The band will just have to hit the road without me. Best wishes to B.B. King, who besides his own enormous talent has always been a brilliant and classy ambassador for the blues and for great music, period.
